I
Death of Wayne Douglas 1995
Wayne Douglas was
in police custody to be questioned about a burglary. Police reported that he collapsed in Brixton Police Station. The police statement said that Mr Douglas died after collapsing while being
questioned. Although the post-mortem on Mr Douglas revealed that he had died of heart failure, the inquest into his death showed that he had been held face-down with his hands cuffed behind his
back four different times. The post-mortem also revealed that Mr Douglas had suffered from heart disease.
Letter from a brother
to another:
"The people that you should be
sending this type of material to are white people who need to learn. The ones who, for centuries, have been lied to and who now actually believe in their superiority etc. and
because of their ignorance, they tacitly condone suffering on this planet and unequal access to opportunities and wealth.
The history of
slavery indicates precisely how relationships have changed between Africans and Europeans based upon European greed and brutality. There was a time when whites and blacks respected each other and shared this world! When you study this history you will see how the
greedy decimation of the African continent and its' peoples led directly to the wealth of white Europeans. The ability to feed the white population cheaply led directly to more leisure time
and better education for the white population, which in-turn led to fantastic discoveries in science, literature, art, industry etc. All of which could not have taken place until ordinary
white people were told, and started to believe, that Black people were sub-humans (no better than animals) and so it was feasible for them to be used as free labour. The effects of the
major depopulation of the African continent can be traced right down to today and the impoverished condition of the Black Man - Economically, Socially, Politically, Educationally and
Psychologically. Unfortunately this history is not taught in our schools - so when intelligent white people realise what their fathers and mothers have done it all seems so amazing. However, we
should not get caught up in looking at slavery as a black/white issue - it was about MONEY fueled by GREED and undertaken with BRUTALITY - not about the colour of a mans' skin."
